Burl & Feather is a small woodworking studio based in northern Rhode Island. We offer handmade furniture and home decor, as well as custom finish carpentry, and we currently work all across Rhode Island, as well as in southern Massachusetts and eastern Connecticut.

Meet Nathan
Burl & Feather is owned and operated by Nathan Estrela, a lifelong Rhode Islander who has more than 10 years of carpentry experience. He spent several years helping to build and renovate homes in Boston, Providence, and Rhode Island’s south county before starting his own business.
Since launching Burl & Feather in 2023, he’s amassed more than 36,000 followers across social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. He’s also been featured in Popular Woodworking and brought home awards at local art shows for his creations.
